Judith Mikol was born on January 26, 1944. She married Tom Truby in 1962 during her senior year and they moved to the East Coast where they lived while Tom was stationed in the US Navy. After returning to California, they raised their three children on a horse ranch in Murrieta until divorcing in 1976. She married Ernest H. Young in 1982. Judy died of cancer at the age of 51 on January 7, 1996, shortly before her 52nd birthday , after winning a battle with the City of Murrieta which allowed her to be buried under a tree in the city's old cemetery. She is survived by a son, David, two daughters, Sherry and Terri, and a grandson, William.
