I received notification from Classmates.com that a Sylvia Morales had recently joined our Class of 62 listing on the website.  I sent an email to whoever was purporting to be Sylvia.  It turned out it was her daughter, Carmen, who inadvertently joined under her mother's name.  She stated in the email that Sylvia had passed away from cancer in 2000.
